IU Secure Wireless Connection

IU Secure is the wireless network for students, faculty, and staff to access on all campuses. IU Secure utilizes WPA2 Enterprise Wi-Fi Protected Access) for authentication and encryption; no VPN is needed. Read more on IU Knowledge Base site.

To automatically configure your Windows computer to connect to IU Secure, use the appropriate configuration utility from IUware.

Note: IU Secure will be retired on January 28, 2020. It will be replaced by Eduroam as outlined below.

Eduroam

Eduroam is the newest wireless network for IU students, faculty, and staff. You can read more in details on IU Knowledge Base. Everyone will be required to switch over to this network after January 28, 2020.

Registering Your Devices

You do not have to register your wireless devices with IU Secure.
